The first step of enrollment is filling out a Prospective Student Form. If your student meets the initial criteria and we feel he or she might be a fit for our school, you will be contacted for an interview and academic assessment. After the interview and academic assessment, the caregivers will be contacted and enrollment will be discussed and finalized. If there are no spots available in a particular class, the student will be put on the waiting list for the next available spot.

Students in grades Pre-K through third grade that have a parent or step-parent who is incarcerated now or who has any past history of incarceration may apply.

Students enter LCA in the early years in order for them to develop the academic skills they will need to complete our college preparatory program in the upper grades.

Our classes are small, usually less than ten students per teacher.

Our school is fully accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association, which is recognized by the state of Oklahoma.

Our teachers receive salary and benefits for working at our school.

No prior religious affiliation is required for entry into our school. Caregivers must consent to students being taught according to Biblical Christian philosophy.

All students that attend LCA attend on scholarships. These scholarships are earned by their standing as children of incarcerated parents, good effort and behavior, and through the involvement of their Caregivers.
What curriculum do you use?
What curriculum do you use?
Bible Classes use the Bible curriculum from Association of Christian Schools International.
Lower elementary school uses Abeka Curriculum. Abeka is an advanced Christian curriculum.
Middle School students use Abeka plus some online classes from Freedom Project Academy.
High School Students begin taking academic courses at Oral Roberts University and receive credits toward a college degree while still in high school. They can also take classes at Metro Tech.

All students at LCA take music and art. K-3rd grade learn ukulele and choir which prepares them for the private music instruction they get starting in grade 4. Private lessons include drums and rhythm graduating to a combination of guitar, bass, drum kit, and keyboard.
All students take art once per week and learn several different media, including painting and pottery.

LCA receives funding from individuals, businesses, churches, foundations and grants, tax credits from the State of Oklahoma, and from Oklahoma's Opportunity Scholarship Fund.
